Youtube is filled with weird and interesting videos, whether to teach you something or to freak you out. What’s important to keep in mind is that you can share those videos as long as you mind the copyright. For example, you can download Youtube videos, but when you upload them on Facebook, you will receive a warning from Facebook regarding the copyright of the song or the video you are trying to upload. In that case, Facebook will automatically delete your video/song. To avoid that, there are 2 tricks you should know regarding copyrighted videos or songs.
Here are 2 ways in which you can share Youtube videos without worrying about copyright.
1. Embedding videos
You can embed any creepy or funny Youtube video you found on your blog, website or social media. You can do that by clicking on the “Share” link that’s below the video and then clicking on the Embed tab and copy the provided code and paste it into your blog or website. If you want to customize the video then click on “SHOW MORE“. After you’ve done changing the parameters provided, copy the code and paste it into your blog or website.
2. Convert your videos to GIFs
Facebook is now accepting GIF file formats, so you can convert a portion of any Youtube video into a GIF file and upload it on Facebook or any social media website or blog that accepts GIF files. You can do that by visiting a website called gifs.com.
All you have to do is simply copy the URL of the Youtube video, paste it in the provided box and click on “Create GIF“, then it will tell you to specify a starting point, add caption, title and set the length of the GIF.
Once you complete these parameters, click on the “Create GIF” button to receive your converted GIF file.
