2. Content Updates

You must update your content regularly because search engines feel strong about the content you share. The content that is regularly reviewed is the best indicator of the relevancy of your site. Make sure that your website’s content is fresh.

3. Metadata tags

When you design your website, you should consider the Metadata tags such as Title Metadata, Description Metadata and Keyword Metadata.

The Title metadata is displayed on the top of your browser window. Among the three metadata tag it is the most important metadata tag.

Description Metadata is a description that the browser displays when your website is searched. It is like a window display for your website that encourages a user to enter your website.

Insert keyword Metadata which includes phrases that a user might use to find your page. There is a need to include a number of keyword phrases, but overdoing it is not an option.

4. Relevant links

Your website must have relevant links within its text. Don’t use vague links such as “click here” try something that gives a name of the destination a user would want to visit on your website.

5. Alt tags

It is important to use tags on your website to improve its ranking. The website must have alt tags for video and images media, or the alternative is text descriptions. The alt tags search your website’s page and locate it through these tags.
