Apple has finally updated their pro line computers with the latest release of their new iMac Pro workstations. Apple says that the iMac pro is their most powerful Mac ever made, surpassing their previous trash-can, the Mac Pro.
The iMac Pro was released in December 2017 with an eye watering starting price of AU $7, 299. If you want to configure it to be more powerful then expect to pay around AU $20,000.

- 3.2GHz 8-Core Intel Xeon W processor (Configurable to 18-core, 2.3GHz Intel Xeon W processor, Turbo boost up to 4.3 GHz, 42.75 MB cache.)
- Turbo Boost up to 4.2GHz
- 32GB of 2666MHz ECC memory, configurable up to 128GB
- 1TB of SSD storage
- Radeon Pro Vega 56 with 8GB of HBM2 memory (Configurable to Radeon Pro Vega 64 graphics processor with 16GB of HBM2 memory.)
- 10Gb Ethernet
- Four Thunderbolt 3 ports
- 27-inch 5120-by-2880 P3 Retina 5K display
